Day 1Cracow

Arrival in Cracow. Transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 Cracow

Breakfast. Sightseeing in Cracow’s Old Town: a visit to Wawel Hill (the castle courtyard and the Cathedral), a stroll along the Royal Way, Collegium Maius and St. Mary’s Church with the altar by Veit Stoss. Time for shopping in and around the Main Square.

In the afternoon, a bicycle tour of Cracow. The route starts on the Vistula boulevard and leads to Kościuszko’s Mound. Cycling up the hill is hard work, but the view makes it well worth the effort. Time for a well-deserved rest follows, then dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 Cracow - Cracow - Częstochowa Upland - Cracow

Breakfast. Departure for Będkowska Valley, one of the longest karstic valleys in the Cracow -Częstochowa Upland. There are plenty of Jurassic formations to admire, including the famous Bat Cave. A walk through the valley and a visit to the cave. In the afternoon, drive to Zabierzów. Lunch en route. Horse riding along local trails. Departure for Cracow. Return to hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 4 Cracow - Pieniny mountains

Breakfast. Departure for Szczawnica. On the way, a visit to the castle in Niedzica, perched on a rocky outcrop above the dam on the River Dunajec. Arrival at hotel and lunch. In the afternoon, drive to the village of Jaworki for a hike to the highest peak of the Pieniny Mountains - Mt. Wysoka. The trail leads through the Homole Gorge nature reserve, which features many fascinating rock formations. After the hike, a well-deserved rest. Overnight stay.

Day 5 Pieniny

Breakfast. Departure for Sromowce, the starting point of a raft trip down the River Dunajec through the Pieniny National Park. The river runs through an awe-inspiring gorge with forested slopes. After this aquatic adventure, return to the hotel. Lunch. In the afternoon, departure for the Palenica chairlift stop. The chairlift will take you to a high meadow with a summer toboggan run. The fast ride along the winding route is a truly exhilarating experience. Dinner - sausages cooked over a campfire. Overnight stay.

Day 6 Pieniny - Wieliczka - Cracow

Breakfast. Return to Cracow via the salt mine in Wieliczka. A tour along the extended tourist route leading through a labyrinth of rarely visited tunnels and chambers. Lunch. Arrival at the hotel. In the afternoon, option of recreation at the centre of your choice:

Park Wodny (Aqua Park) - a swimming pool complex with slides
Fantasy Park (bowling)

Option: In the evening, a pub crawl and a chance to explore the city’s nightlife.

Return to hotel. Overnight stay.

Breakfast. Departure from Cracow.
