Schedule
Day 1Cracow
Arrival in Cracow. Transfer to hotel. A stroll around the beautifully illuminated Main Square. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 Cracow
Breakfast. Sightseeing in Cracow’s Old Town. A visit to Wawel Cathedral to see the Royal Tombs and the Zygmunt Bell, a stroll around the castle courtyard, then along the Royal Route to the Main Square and St. Mary’s Church. Then, on to the historical university buildings: the neo-Gothic Collegium Novum and Collegium Maius - the oldest preserved building of the Jagiellonian University which was established in the 14th century. A stroll around the courtyard with its picturesque galleries, and a visit to the Jagiellonian University Museum. Free time for shopping in the Main Square. In the afternoon, a meeting with young people from a Polish school. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 Cracow - Auschwitz - Wygiełzów - Cracow
Breakfast. Departure for Auschwitz. A tour of the Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp, then departure for Wygiełzów and the Vistula Ethnographic Park, an open-air museum. Lunch at an inn. There will be a pottery demonstration at the Ethnographic Park, followed by a walk to the medieval castle of Lipowiec. Return to Cracow. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 Cracow - Zakopane - Cracow
Breakfast. Departure for Zakopane, a town at the foot of the Tatra Mountains. On the way, a visit to the open-air railway museum in Chabówka. Arrival in Zakopane. Funicular railway ride to Gubałówka, on foot to Butorowy Peak, and down by chairlift. A stroll down Kościeliska street, the town’s oldest street with many examples of architecture typical of the region. Free time for shopping on Krupówki street. Return to Cracow via Chochołów, a village with unique buildings forming a living open-air museum of wooden architecture. Arrival at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Tatra mountains
Day 5 Cracow - Wieliczka - Cracow
Breakfast. Departure for Wieliczka. A tour of the unique salt mine featuring underground chapels and the Crystal Caves. Return to Cracow. There is a choice of programme in the afternoon:
Option 1: Relaxing at Park Wodny (Aqua Park) - one of the largest complexes of its kind in Europe. Water-slides, a climbing wall, artificial rapids, islands, caves, waterfalls and fountains all guarantee a great time. After fun at the pool, dinner at Park Wodny's restaurant.
Option 2: Bowling at the leisure centre
A fun option for everyone. Fantasy Park in Cracow has 16 bowling alleys fitted with a state-of-the-art computerized point-scoring system. Dinner at Fantasy Park's restaurant.
Return to hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 6 Cracow
Breakfast. Departure from Cracow.
