EURO 2012
We are happy to be your host in Poland during this year’s European Football Championship EURO 2012, organized together by Poland and Ukraine.
We are proud that Krakow is among recommended Residence Centres, which besides main Host Cities, shall accommodate football fans, tourists and journalists.

Moreover, what makes us even more proud is the fact that Krakow was selected to be a seat and a training place by three great national football teams: England, Italy and the Netherlands.
What’s also worth emphasising, never before has one city been chosen a host by three national teams! We are honoured. Thank you for your trust, you are most welcome in Krakow!

In 2011 8.6 million of tourists visited our city. Why? Krakow is a unique combination of culture and history with exciting nightlife. Firstly: the Royal Wawel Castle, the Old Town and picturesque district of Kazimierz, enlisted on UNESCO Cultural Heritage List since 1978. Secondly: in Krakow’s centre you may find over 50 clubs or discos and more than 300 pubs and bars!
Choose Krakow! Follow the steps of national football teams of England, Italy and the Netherlands!
During EURO 2012 football fans will not be disappointed: several football zones with LED displays, a vast Football Fan Area in Błonia Park, a Fan-Zone by the Cracovia Stadium and much more. Take part in a competition for the loudest cheering, take a photo with your best-loved player, watch a training of your favourite national team!
